Spittin Fools!

Last week on the way out to a range with the Air Force ALO guys we spotted these camels. Being that we were a little early to occupy the range we decided to chase the camels around for a bit. Besides the occasional sand beatle and the copious amount of flys, these guys were the first signs of Middle-Eastern life.

Camels are one of the smelliest, ugliest animals I have ever seen. They are really loud and when someone says that they spit... ...they really spit.

Once we got done with the camels it was off to the range. I'd taken 'em out a couple of times (they don't have anyone with a Kuwaiti lisence so I drive them out there) and watched them drop 500 lb. concrete bombs. That day we, and when I say we I mean they, finally got clearence for a 500ft fly by with a couple of F-14 Tomcats - the kind in Top Gun. All in all it was a good day, another afternoon NOT spent in the TOC running erands and anwering phones.
